Would it kill You to bless me a little bit!?!

Life is hard. It is an eternal truth and we ALL can relate, can empathize. We should never, ever think that someone has it easy, without problems, because no one really does. Everyone is here to gain experience and learn. That means we will all face adversity, struggles, heart-aches etc. We know that, we intellectually get it. But don’t you have those days when you look up to heaven, with fists clinched and yell something to the effect of, “WHAT THE HECK!” We have those Teyve-like conversations with God and wonder, like Joseph, “O God, where art thou? And where is the pavilion that covereth thy hiding place?” (D&C 121:1)
In days like these, hopefully we can flee into the scriptures and talk, really talk, with God. I know it may be the last things we want to do, but it is the first things that will bring us peace. Somehow reading in Job, and in D&C 121, and about the crucifixion, and the Psalm of Nephi, and so many other scriptures bring perspective, serenity and the will to press forward.
The following is a talk by Elder Jeffrey R. Holland that is one of my “go-to-talks” when the end of my rope is long gone. The talk is awesome and the Mormon Message based on the talk is likewise great.
If you find your fists clinched and yelling “Hey, remember me down here!” you’ll find some hope in this talk.
